Leaving Ireland by John Morrison 
“Leaving Ireland ” is a beautiful slow air written by John Morrison of the Isle of Lewis, and can be found in the Caber Feidh Collection.  “John Morrison from Back, Isle of Lewis, composed the slow air “Leaving Ireland ” when the unit of which his son Iain had been Pipe Major, the 1st Battalion Queen’s Own Highlanders, completed a tour of duty in Ulster in 1979.”
